Shir Chadash! is produced by Illumin8tion, Inc., an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in New York State.

Our mission is to illuminate the lives of Jewish, Jewish-adjacent, and spiritually-seeking individuals through joyful communal ritual, prayer, song, music, and artistic expression.

To fulfill that mission, we create and present immersive experiences and educational offerings that help individuals deepen their spiritual connection, develop their creative voices, and discover meaningful ways to share what they learn with their communities.

At the heart of our work is the belief that creativity—especially music and the arts—can open pathways to connection, belonging, and spiritual growth. Whether someone arrives as a participant, a learner, or simply seeking renewal, they often leave with something they can carry forward: a song, an idea, a practice, or a new way of engaging Jewish life.

Illumin8tion’s work extends beyond a single event. Through retreats, gatherings, and evolving educational resources, we are building a growing network of individuals committed to creative, participatory Jewish life across diverse communities and settings.

All registration fees for Shir Chadash! directly support the retreat and its programming.
